As every bingo player will know the chat rooms are monitored by someone we call a chat moderator (CM), chat host(CH), chat master(CM) or chat leader (CL). These people are very important to a bingo site as they are first contact for any new player or existing player.

So many people think this it is a basic job just chatting and playing games all day, but this really is not the case. They have much more to do than chat and play games. They have to have good knowledge of the bingo site they work for, and some technical knowledge for when players need help with anything from computer issues, to simply playing the bingo game. We can’t overstate the hard work they do as this should be kept confidential.

There is only one place on the internet that celebrates all the hard work they do and everything else that comes with a CM role. WhichCM.com invited everyone to take part in votes to find the best chat teams out there. If you have a favourite CM make sure they receive your support. Every December they begin the hunt to find the CM Team of the Year, with only the best performing team being shortlisted for the award.

This years shortlist has not yet been announced, but be sure to keep checking WhichCM for all the details. The vote will commence on December 1st, good luck!
